Who let the intern into the Richmond Show?

If the tremendous amount of joy on my face doesn't say how proud I was to be a part of Think's victory this year, maybe this post can. We received Gold (and two hefty cannonballs that were very fulfilling to hold) for the Advertising Campaigns' category, for our politically relevant "POTUS Quotes" work. 

I spent the majority of the day with the Ad Club board and several fellow alumni preparing for the show. But nothing prepared me for the glorious night that ensued. The turnout was immense, and the libations were many, and of course I can't forget to mention the afterparty at Graffiato's. It was incredibly inspiring to view our work and the work of so many other talented agencies, on display and on screen. To top things off, one of my greatest role models and mentors, Scott Sherman, was justly named Ad Person of the Year.

My first Richmond Ad Show certainly didn't disappoint, and now we have the rest of the year to get started on sweeping the competition in the 2017 show (can you say Oh Sweet Biscuits?). Much love and thanks to the whole Think crew for all the effort we put into creating and submitting our work, and congratulations to every agency in attendance for their awards and their hustle.
